Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of accounting experience to develop their skills in accounting, financial reporting, and business operations. The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department by performing a range of accounting tasks, assisting with financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Help maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all invoices and payments are accurately recorded.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for audits, taxes, and compliance purposes.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts as needed.
- Track and reconcile banking transactions.
- Review financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure documentation is properly organized and up to date.
- Provide administrative support to other team members.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role or internship experience.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software is a plus.
