Clinical Research Assistant

Overview

Pediatric Specialists of Virginia, Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders of Northern Virginia, is looking to hire a clinical research assistant to work with physicians and healthcare provider teams to maintain and manage clinical studies in pediatric hematology-oncology. This position is located in Fairfax, VA, and works Full-Time M-F, 30 hours/week.

Job Description

• Data entry for clinical database research study
• Management of clinical research studies
• Enrolling patients on studies
• Assure study and regulatory compliance by maintaining IRB documentation and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in biological or health sciences.
• All employees must pass an employment TB, drug test, and physical exam.

Desired Qualifications

• Interest in clinical research is desirable, but clinical experience is not necessary.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record usage is desirable but not required.
• Experience with REDCap is desirable but not required.

• Attention to detail
• Responsibility, reliability, and ability to work independently
