2026 Novartis Summer Internship - Radioligand Therapy: Quality Control
Novartis Radioligand Therapy (RLT) is a next‑generation, targeted cancer therapy that uses a radioactive payload guided by a precision ligand to selectively eliminate cancer cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissue
Quality Control (QC) plays a critical role in RLT because these treatments involve radioactive compounds combined with targeting ligands, making precision and safety paramount. QC ensures product purity and identity, radiochemical stability, regulatory compliance and environmental process controls.
In QC the Analytical Science and Technology (ASAT) function sits at the intersection of routine testing, method science and operational support.
Job Purpose
Collaborating with the ASAT team the following tasks will be performed:
- Support and problem solving for Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)/Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
- Testing build items, optimization, adding approved functionality in LIMS
- Deviation support
- Data queries for quarterly numbers
